Mosaic Church is dedicated to vibrant worship, fellowship, and service that mirrors the diverse and dynamic nature of God’s kingdom. Each aspect of our mission — to Know, Show, Grow, and Go — is a thread in the fabric of our community, woven together to create a place where everyone can find connection, purpose, and spiritual growth.
The goal of Mosaic Church is that everyone who enters will
intimately know God, receive His love, and the gift of salvation. We do this by preaching the gospel, speaking truth in love, and building community to foster relationships and be the hands and feet of Jesus. (Jeremiah 9:23-24, John 17:3, Philippians 3:10)
The worship experience will be designed to help people encounter God and continue that connection outside the church. We do this by having a team huddle and prayer to prepare our hearts and minds, and pre-service media displayed with information about opportunities such as life groups, youth, kids’ ministry, etc. We’ll have a time of worship through music, prayer, and praise. There will be a time for announcements to highlight what’s going on at Mosaic Church and provide opportunities for further growth. We’ll have a relevant message that focuses on Jesus and invite those who don’t know Him to accept and get to know our savior.
A team will be on hand to meet with new believers, celebrate their decision, give them a new believer packet, and talk about next steps. The packet will contain a Bible, a letter from the team celebrating their decision, resources for a new believer, and a t-shirt coupon redeemable on their next visit to the church. The pastor will reach out to the new believers during the week to further celebrate their decision, answer any questions, provide additional information and resources, and help them get connected.

We show Christ’s love by building authentic relationships with
people. We go beyond surface-level contact and seek to personally know them and their family. Our goal is to teach people that Jesus loves them despite things done in the past and there is hope for the
future. (Romans 5:8, 1 John 4:9-11, 1 Corinthians 13)

The church should be a place of community. Our goal is to foster an environment where people seek to grow their community within and outside the church. We do this by creating events for families, building a robust children’s ministry, and getting involved in our community outside the church. Not only will growing community spread the gospel message, but it will also foster stronger relationships with the people, and they will have a community to call on in good times and difficult times. (Proverbs 27:17, Galatians 6:2, 1 Peter 4:10, James 5:16)
Externally, we will get involved in community events such as parades, fall events, local schools, sporting events, etc. We’ll host events to invite the community to the church such as fall fest, Easter egg hunts, and Parents Night Out. Additionally, I help to meet the needs of the community by connecting to local schools, school supplies drives, volunteering, and gratitude moments for teachers and other community leaders. Being in the community will provide opportunities to invite people to Mosaic and be a beacon in the community.
Internally, we’ll grow the community by utilizing life groups, family fun nights, Next-Gen ministries, and encouraging people within the church to build relationships and grow their friend groups and communities. Instilling this culture of community early on will allow it to grow organically. We will also host periodic gatherings for parents to gain tools to help foster growth within their families and marriage retreats.

It is not enough to create community locally. We must also go beyond our areas to share the gospel and grow communities everywhere. We do this by creating an environment of discipleship that trains others to go out and continue spreading the message of Jesus Christ. Much like the early Christians who scattered to the outer reaches of the world, so too must the people of Mosaic Church go out into the world. Our goal is to support missions locally, nationally, and globally, and support others who feel called to be church planters. (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8, Acts 13:47)
We will do mission trips locally, nationally, and internationally. We will instill a culture of missions by demonstration, supporting missionaries, and special missions events. Missions will be a part of our NextGen culture to train the next generation to go out and preach the gospel. Our vision is to have kids starting in 4th or 5th grade, along with their parents, attend a local mission event. Once students are in 8th – 12th grades, they can take part in national mission trips. International mission trips will be planned for adults and their teens.
We will plan events to raise money for missionaries such as Speed the Light, identify missionaries to support, and set aside a portion of tithes to give to missions.
